Ayrshire, Scotland — ICEED is excited to share that Ken Kitatani had the honour of meeting His Majesty King Charles III at Dumfries House in Scotland and was appointed as a member of an AI committee convened by His Majesty through The King’s Foundation.

The committee brings together leading figures from the artificial intelligence and technology sectors to exchange perspectives on the rapidly evolving AI landscape and its implications for society.

During the gathering, Ken also introduced the recently established United Nations University AI Hub (UNU Hub on AI) and discussed with fellow committee members potential areas for future collaboration.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen dialogue around responsible AI and to explore how international institutions, technology leaders and other stakeholders can work together as artificial intelligence continues to develop.

Further details about the gathering are available in The King’s Foundation’s article.
