Yuuichiro Nakajima is a Trustee and Director of ICEED UK. He has had a long career in corporate finance, at various firms including S.G.Warburg/SBC Warburg, Crosby Corporate Advisory, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Business Development Asia. Since 2003, Yuuichiro has been managing his own firm Crimson Phoenix which specialises in advising companies on cross-border mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and similar corporate transactions involving Japanese parties, either as clients or as their counterparts. He has held a number of non-executive directorships and is currently an independent NED of a London-listed investment trust which invests in UK smaller companies.

Yuuichiro has been involved in other organisations across the fields of culture, art and sports. He is Chairman of Japan H.L. Limited, which operates Japan House London, a showcase of Japanese culture, craftsmanship and gastronomy. He was a member of the Audit and Compliance Committee at FIFA, football’s world governing body. Yuuichiro also served as a Trustee and Director of The Japan Society, the oldest Japan-related bilateral society in the UK.

Yuuichiro spent part of his childhood in London. Most of his education took place in Japan but he has spent more of his career in London than in Tokyo, although he is a regular traveller to Japan.
