Brigadier General Baron John T. Digilio, Jr., holds a BA in Biology and an MBA in Hospital Administration.  He served in the active, national guard, and reserve components of the United States Army.  Sixteen of his 32 years of military service were in command positions.

In his civilian life he has been the CEO of hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and ambulatory care facilities; and has held academic positions at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, St Joseph’s College, and St Francis College.  He served as a Hospital Administration Consultant in the New York State Department of Health.

He was granted the hereditary title of nobility as a Baron of the Apostolic Palace by the Vatican.  His honorific titles include the Grand Cross of the Papal Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great, Grand Cross of the Star of Ethiopia, Grand Cross, OSMTH, Grand Cross in the Order Valiant of St George, and Grand Cross in the Royal Confraternity of St. Teotonio.
