ICEED participated in the Eco Ministry Training at the Center for Earth Ethics, Union Theological Seminary. As collaborators of CEE (Center for Earth Ethics), ICEED was asked to lead the morning meditation and reflection on the second day. A variety of ministers from different faith and indigenous traditions, leaders of non-profits, artists and academics joined the two and a half day training. The highlight was former Vice-President Al Gore’s presentation on climate change based on this years theme, “Water and Faith.” With repeat participants from previous year’s training and first time participants, the training was highly unified and a strong sense of solidarity and urgency was felt.
