Christophe Déage serves as a Lieutenant-Colonel in the French Citizen’s Reserve, President-Auditor of the Institute of Defense Higher Studies – IHEDN (L), Vice-President of the Society of the French Officers (L), and Board Member of Eurodefense-Luxembourg, he contributes to strenghthening understanding of defense, security and European sovereignty challenges.

He is also the Chairman of LH Europe–Grand-Château d’Ansembourg, a company developing heritage, cultural and institutional projects with a European and international focus. He also serves as President of Cœur Vert Luxembourg, an organisation advancing resilient and sustainable ecosystems, notably through reforestation initiatives in Europe and Africa.

He holds several European advisory and leadership roles, including Expert for the Economic and Social Council of the Greater Region – Luxembourg (L), Saarland (D), Rhineland-Palatinate (D), Greater East (F) and Wallonia-Brussels (B) –, Vice-President of the European Mouvement (L), and Member of the Council of Foundation of Jean Monnet Foundation for Europe (CH). In these capacities, he helps shape public policy dialogue, fosters cross-border cooperation, and promotes long-term strategic thinking.

As Coordinator for the Luxembourg Chapter of the Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice Foundation (Holy See), his initiatives advance ethical, sustainable development grounded in human dignity and intercultural and interreligious dialogue. His engagement works to address the interconnected poly-crises of our time, in support of peace and social cohesion.

Christophe is also a Board Member of ‘La Renaissance française’, an international association recognized as public utility (F), where he supports the protection of cultural and natural heritage, promotes Francophonie, and encourages cultural dialogue through the arts, including partnerships with UNESCO.
