Divya Gupta, President & CEO of G.R.I.D.S. Consulting, established the company in 2008, with the intention to assist businesses with expanding their market share by strategically positioning them within the targeted industry & market. After receiving her dual degrees in Business Administration & Marketing from University of Maryland, she joined Adventist Health Care (AHC), a nonprofit headquartered on the east coast.

Her first endeavor into entrepreneurship was developing a Maryland based fashion brand: the Yblends. Focused on bringing visibility to the new brand, she worked full-time with designer, Sandeep Bharal to build the clothing line while strategically positioning it at exclusive events to enable future growth. Her attention to detail was seen when she focused on developing the brand starting with a unique brand name, positioning statement, and consulting on the overall development for the fashion brand.

Immediately following her career at the nonprofit, she started working in the Program Management Office (PMO) for Marriott International (MIHQ). As the Sr. Program Analyst, Divya became part of developing brand initiatives like “No Smoking in the Rooms” (domestic) & “New Bedding” (global) to name a few.

Her career within the Marriott Corporation advanced and she was promoted as the Regional Business Analyst (Western Region) in 2008, moving to Southern California. She assisted with developing the foundations of Ritz Carlton & J.W. Marriott as part of “L.A. Live” a few years prior to its construction.

As an advocate for women in business, STEM education, a mother, speaker, and philanthropist, Divya aims to inspire women globally. She wants the younger generation to step outside their comfort zone to achieve whatever defines their success. “Believe in what you want. There is no other way to think” is her mantra to success. Divya and her team at G.R.I.D.S. Consulting, take pride in bringing success to their clients by providing hands-on attention to build brand equity, brand image, and brand awareness. The emphasis is on using innovative, out of the box thinking to highlight the brand’s uniqueness, while focusing on increasing the overall revenue.

Today, Divya resides in Maryland and actively volunteers as a musician and an athlete to encourage a healthy lifestyle and promote self-expression, especially among young adults.
