Chris Aylett is a Research Associate in the Environment and Society Centre at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) in London, UK.
Chris’ research focuses on the environmental, economic and geopolitical consequences both of climate change and of the measures taken to address it. He has worked with partners in China and across Europe to increase understanding of the risks of climate change, in particular ‘cascading’ risks that cross national borders. His current focus is on how clean technology is reshaping the global order.
Previously, Chris managed an international research consortium investigating the drivers of entrepreneurship in different contexts. He has also worked in the music industry.
Chris holds an MSc in global energy and climate policy from SOAS, University of London.
